We wanted a wading vest that felt like the gear we grew up with—rugged, simple, and built with a purpose. So we went back to waxed canvas and built from there.

Handcrafted in the USA, the One Down Waxed Canvas Wading Vest pairs a durable waxed canvas shell with a ripstop nylon interior for a balance of old-school character and modern function. Sherpa fleece-lined hand pockets give you a warm place for cold hands, while dedicated storage pockets and an interior phone pocket keep the essentials close.

Up front, built-in shell holders keep 25 shells organized and within easy reach when you need them.

The waxed canvas will develop its own character with use—every hunt, scrape, crease, and season adding to a vest that’s meant to look better the more you wear it.
